Quest Big Betty Model Rocket Kit – Q1014

As the older and slightly more experienced cousin of the Bright Hawk, the Big Betty is a classic model rocket kit featuring balsa wood fins and the largest diameter body tube in the Skill Level 1 category. This is one of the most popular kits, so if you’re looking for a nice big kit that flies like a dream… look no further!

Quest Skill Level 1 beginner modeler kits may require a little measuring, gluing, sanding and painting. Assembly usually takes 45 to 90 minutes. Drying time for glue and painting could take up to 3 hours.

This kit requires assembly. Hobby glues, finishing supplies, building tools, launch system and rocket motors for launching are not included.

Launch supplies sold separately. Requires Complete Launch System (Q7700), Quest Q-Jet rocket motors with FirstFire Micro Initiators and Recovery Wadding. One 9-volt, snap-top, Lithium battery is required for the Q2 Launch Controller – Not Included.

Recommended for ages 10 to adult. Direct adult supervision is suggested for those under 12 years of age when building or flying model rockets.
