This loco is modeled after the original, made to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the German railways. Two self-propelled cars were manufactured for the purpose of sight-seeing trips. These sophisticated cars were designed to provide passengers with a panoramic view, so as many surfaces as possible were comprised of glass—including parts of the roof.
