The K2D4 is a N-scale drop-in decoder designed for Kato and Walthers locomotives. Examples include the following:

Kato:

• RS2/RSC2
• SD80/SD90MAC

Walthers:

• RS2
• GP18

Note: The K2D4 has copper tabs installed which slip over the motor contacts on the locomotive.
