These 3-bay covered hoppers was painted in the Chessie System Yellow and Blue Scheme before being taken over by CSX which applied a paintout and new reporting mark. CSX was formed through the 1986 mergers of Chessis System and Seaboard System/ Family Lines, and continues to operate today across more than 21,000 miles of track in the Eastern United States.
