These 4,600 cubic foot capacity three-bay covered hoppers were built in 1978 for Rock Island by American Car & Foundry. They later made their way to First Union Rail Leasing under the RUSX reporting mark. First Union Rail, now under Wells Fargo Railâ€™s umbrella, owns more than 135,000 railcars and nearly 1,000 locomotives.
