Built in the late 1960s for the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway, known as the Frisco, this 2-bay covered hopper made its way to Burlington Northern in the 1980s. Burlington Northern was formed through the mergers of Great Northern and Northern Pacific in 1970, and then merged with ATSF in 1995 to form BNSF.
