The #5 Wye Turnout allows for smoother transitions between tracks during switching operations and accommodates locomotives and rolling stock with relatively long wheel bases. It can also be used to make a three-point “wye” junction to redirect or turn locomotives around on more sophisticated railroad layouts.

This turnout is electrically gapped to meet the DCC specifications of theNational Model Railroad Association(NMRA).

Note: All analog turnouts (non-DCC) require a 16V AC or DC accessory power supply for operation.
