The latest alloy transformable finished product “ZETA GUNDAM” has been released by a luxurious lineup of creators, with Naka Morifumi, who served as the mechanical animation director for “Mobile Suit Gundam Z (Zeta) A New Translation” as styling advisor.

In addition to the beautiful Wave Rider form reminiscent of the movie, experience the “new imagining” of ZETA GUNDAM unique to METAL BUILD, which incorporates many new elements such as the telescopic/suspended beam rifle and the deployment of the calf thruster covers.

The Bandai Metal Build MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam is a premium, high-end collector’s figure representing the iconic transformable mobile suit from the 1985 series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. This 2026 release is engineered with a focus on both aesthetic fidelity and structural integrity, utilizing the series’ signature hybrid construction.

The figure features a heavy-duty die-cast metal internal frame and joints, providing the necessary tension for transformation while ensuring long-term durability. The exterior armor is composed of high-quality ABS and PVC plastics with a specialized matte and metallic finish.

Perfect Transformation System

This model achieves a “perfect transformation” from Mobile Suit mode to Wave Rider mode without the need for additional parts-swapping. The transformation mechanism incorporates sliding armor plates and locking metal hinges to maintain a sleek profile in flight mode. In Mobile Suit mode, the figure stands approximately 180 mm (7.1 inches) tall to the top of the head.
