1/72 Trumpeter German Pz.Kpfw.Sd.Ah.116 Tank Transporter – 07249

The Sd.Anh.116 is based mainly on an officially issued Dienstvorschrift. In the front of the chassis unit, the frame was later extended to cover the running gear. The side lamps received a protective guard and for use as a railway ramp, four small hooks were welded to the head crossbeam for mounting loading ramps. The locking mechanism of the yoke crossbeam was reworked. On the rear chassis unit, the single towing hook in the middle was replaced by two hooks mounted on the sides of the chassis. Two further hooks were additionally bolted on the rear side of this chassis unit and the two locking pintles for the yoke crossbeam were dropped in favor of a hinged arm.
