This military aircraft appeared as a carrier-based version of the V/STOL (short take-off and landing) fighter-attack aircraft Harrier, which entered practical use for the first time in the world by the UK.

Tamiya has faithfully recreated this aircraft as a plastic model assembly kit. Features of the Sea Harrier, such as the variable nozzle and large canopy with good visibility, are faithfully recreated. The air brake can be opened or closed. A wealth of weapon parts, such as a sidewinder, a 1000-pound bomb, and a 30mm Aden cannon pod, demonstrate the Sea Harrier’s superior attack power.
