About the K9FIN ‘Moukari’

The K9FIN is based on the South Korean K9 Thunder, one of the world’s most advanced self-propelled howitzers. The system features a 155mm/52-caliber howitzer capable of firing up to six rounds per minute with a maximum range of 40 kilometers using standard ammunition or 56 kilometers with rocket-assisted projectiles. The K9FIN is powered by a German MTU diesel engine producing 1,000 horsepower, giving it a top speed of 67 km/h and excellent mobility across Finland’s challenging terrain.
